
BIOGRAPHY:

Chris Billings graduated from Oregon State University in 1972 with BS in mechanical engineering technology. His first work experience included six years with a national automatic temperature control contractor. Upon reaching the experience level necessary to obtain professional engineering status, Chris began his consulting practice in 1978. With over thirty years of experience in the analysis, design and construction of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, plumbing, and fire protections for commercial, industrial and institutional facilities, Chris is now a registered professional engineer in Alaska, California, Colorado, Oregon and Washington. He has authored numerous engineering computer programs for load calculations, and building and mechanical systems simulation, as well as a flexible custom energy management system (EMS) currently in use in many facilities. Chris Billings served eight years on the Oregon Structural Codes Advisory Board and has chaired and participated in numerous professional society committees. |
