DISCIPLINES:

  1. MECHANICAL ENGINEERING - This is the traditional role of an engineer who creates construction documents for new and existing building systems. Utilizing his other capabilities described below, Chris Billings has an unequalled capability of engineering highly efficient and maintainable systems frequently with funding assistance from government or utility conservation programs.
  2. ENERGY CONSERVATION - Chris Billings has completed thousands of energy studies ranging from simple audits to full simulation of all systems serving a college campus. He has written his own software for modeling the performance of buildings and their systems. This allows him to create a more accurate model. He stays current on all government and utility programs and has been highly successful in combining programs to minimize retrofit costs.
  3. CONTROLS - Chris Billings' efforts range from service of existing systems to full turn-key installation of new energy management systems. He has also written the software for an innovative, generic and very cost effective energy management system. Because of its generic nature, this system frees the owner from the burden of dependence upon one vendor for system changes and service.
  4. PLANNED FACILITIES MANAGEMENT - Chris Billings' services range from on call consultation on specific building system concerns to full physical plant administration for a school district. Within this range his services include preventive maintenance programs, parts inventory and maintenance budgeting and forecasting.
